On Sunday Ps Joel preached out of Galatians 5:1= "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." He explained the FREEDOM from the law and sin that Christ won for us and he encouraged us to stand firm in this freedom we have been given. It is a gift. We cannot work for or earn our salvation as we cannot live to God's perfect standard. We can instead receive it through faith in Jesus! Hallelujah!
